  1. You can register in-person, by mail or drop-off at the RUSC office.
    • In person: Visit the RUSC office at 687 Laurier Street, Rockland
      on the registration dates indicated below or visit our website for office hours.
    • By mail: Print 2page form, complete and mail both pages with cheque or money order to:

    • Drop off: Print 2 page form, complete and drop off both pages with cheque or money order at:

  2. There are two types of registration forms:
    1. Registration for players under 18 years of age.
    2. Registration for players 18 years of age or more.
  3. Late fee. Registrations for the recreational and representative leagues must be received by February 28. It is important that players are registered on time as RUSC must have the teams in place by April. Registrations received on or after 1st March will be charged a late fee of $25. See our website for possible March registration.
    • Note: The OCSL teams are not formed by RUSC but by the team itself, therefore players of OCSL teams do not have late registration fee.
  4. Refund. For refund information, see the Refund Policy section on this page.
  5. A player registering for the first time with the RUSC must show proof of birth date, either by coming to the office, by mail or submitting electronically, a copy of his/her birth certificate.
  6. Non-Volunteer Fee. A $25 non-volunteer fee per family must be paid at registration regardless if you choose to volunteer or not. This is applicable to all levels of play; recreational, EODSA, ERSL, and OCSL. When your volunteer activity is completed and the volunteer completion form is submitted and accepted; your non-volunteer fee will be refunded. Only one non-volunteer fee per family. For more information, select the tab volunteer on our website. It is up to you to complete the volunteer activity form and submit it to RUSC.
  7. Recreational Teams. The RUSC has 6 levels of play U5 (2006, 2005), U7 (2004, 2003), U9 (2002, 2001), U11 (2000, 1999), U14 (1998, 1997, 1996), and U17 (1995, 1994, 1993).

  8. Representative Teams (EODSA & ERSL). Any player wishing to be on a representative team must be registered as a recreational player Before attending the scheduled try-outs. For information regarding try-outs as well as the schedule, select the section "tryouts" on this page. Players selected on a representative team will pay to RUSC a supplemental fee of $50.00 before the start of the season. This supplemental fee is to cover additional cost such as: league membership (ERSL or EODSA), additional administration, gymnasium usage and additional field usage.

  9. Adult Teams (OCSL). All players must be 18 years old or more at registration time. The registration cost for the OCSL players are based on the number of players on a team. Visit our website site and select the tab "league" and then "OCSL" for more information.  Selection of players is made by the administrative staff of that particular team and not from RUSC.  Tentative women and men adult teams for 2010 - [if enough players are registered and coaches chosen by the players]: Women: WR1, Women: WR4 and Men: MR5

    All OCSL players must submit a registration form with no payment attached. The registration cost will be calculated based on the number of players registered on their team and will be requested later.  Contact the RUSC office for more information.

Procedure for refund:

The request for refund must include the player's name, date of birth and mailing address.

RUSC will process refunds within 15 days of the date of receipt.

Non sufficient funds policy[top]

A $20 administrative fee will be charged for each NSF cheque. Player (s) will not be registered nor eligible to participate in RUSC soccer activities until NSF administrative charges and registration fees are paid in full and cleared.

Only cash or money order will be accepted.

Try-outs information[top]

2010 Soccer cometitive Teams General Tryouts

All soccer players, (boys and girls for the age groups and teams below), are invited to participate in the RUSC Competitive Teams General Tryouts for the upcoming 2010 soccer season and represent the RUSC in the Eastern Ontario District Association (EODSA) and East Region Soccer (ERSL) Leagues.

Soccer equipment required for competitive teams tryouts:

  • Gym gear (shorts and T-Shirt);
  • Gym shoes or indoor soccer shoes (NO OUTDOOR SOCCER SHOES), and
  • Shinpads, (MANDATORY).

Location for the General Tryouts: Rockland District High School (RDHS): 1004 St-Joseph, Rockland

We are looking forward to another great competitive season for 2010.  Come and represent the RUSC in the Eastern Ontario District Association (EODSA) and the East Region Soccer League (ERSL) leagues.  All the details concerning the competitive season will be explained to you at the General Tryouts.
